It all begins with a love of adventure.
Christine is always looking for an adventure. She believes that in order to create/design great experiences, the designer should explore and experience the world.
Christine was born and raised on a small horse farm in Massachusetts. In 2013, Christine moved down to Georgia and got her Bachelor of Fine Art at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). During her studies, Christine also studied at SCAD Hong Kong and SCAD Lacoste. After graduating in 2017, Christine realized the world had much to offer and decided to move and take a job offer in Stavanger, Norway (2018-2020). Since then, she has moved to Oslo, Norway, where she currently resides.
Christine is an award-winning service designer with experience in user experience, interaction design, leadership and public speaking. She understands how to create better experiences by understanding backstage processes and technological opportunities as well as an organization's business goals. Using a collaborative, human-centred, iterative approach, along with research, prototyping, and visualization tools, Christine creates experiences that meet the needs of the user, the business, and other stakeholders.
Christine’s hobbies range from creating things with her hands to exercising. When she is not at work or at the gym, she works on her current craft project with the help of her dog and cat. While studying in France (2016), she learned how to embroider, which she has done ever since. She has pushed the boundaries of playing with line weight and gone away from traditional embroidery patterns, taking inspiration from line drawings.
In 2022, Christine decided to take her skills to the next level and taught herself how to quilt. Quilting has been a new challenge and creative outlet for Christine. She is excited to see where it takes her in the future.
